About Our Speakers
Michael Willis MPhil, Senior Solutions Manager, Editorial Excellence, Wiley has worked in publishing since 1999. With Wiley he has helped shape policy and practice in peer review; publishing integrity and ethics; and diversity, equity and inclusion, particularly advocating for the needs of researchers in low- and middle-income countries. He was President of the International Society of Managing and Technical Editors in 2016-7.
Preeti Vashi, Executive Editor, Physical Sciences, Wiley was born and raised in Zimbabwe and completed her PhD in inorganic chemistry at the University of the Witwatersrand, South Africa. After undertaking freelance editing work she moved to Germany and joined Wiley as a professional scientific editor for the Chemistry journals portfolio and has been Editor-in-Chief of the European Journal of Inorganic Chemistry since 2018.
Dr Elizabeth Moylan, Senior Manager, Research Integrity Strategy & Policy, Wiley is a member of Wiley’s Research Integrity team providing support for colleagues and editors in implementing best practices and policy with respect to research integrity and publishing ethics. Elizabeth volunteers for United2Act, chairing the working group responsible for improving post-publication corrections. She also volunteers for COPE’s Papermill working group and is an Editorial Board Member for Research Integrity & Peer Review.
