The Central Library VSB-TUO provides support in reporting scientific results in the Personal Bibliographic Database (OBD) and is responsible for the correctness of the resource and publisher code list. The Library proceeds in accordance with the instructions in the Entering Research and Development Outcome in RIV via the OBD (TUO_PKP_11_001).

More about the evaluation of outcomes on the http://www.vyzkum.cz website.

The Central Library inserts data into authority code lists of:

  • resources (journals, proceedings, monographies, etc.),
  • publishers, and
  • conferences.

Code lists are supplemented on the basis of:

  • authors requests sent via idesk,
  • weekly alerts from WoSScopus,
  • bibliographic records from the library catalogue of proceedings from conferences submitted for registration into the Library.

Outcomes from the Programmes Horizon 2020 and Horizon Europe

Bibliographic records of outcomes created within the EU Framework Programmes Horizon 2020 (2014-2020) and Horizon Europe (since 2021) must include full text of the journal article (J) or proceedings paper (D) in the form of:

  1. an author's manuscript (preprint, postprint), or
  2. a publisher's version of the article in the case of an article published in the open access regime in open journals or in so-called hybrid journals.

See Open Access Policy to Scientific Information, Article 3.

Author Identifiers ORCID, ResearcherID (Web of Science), and AuthorID (Scopus)

Since 2021, authors at VSB-TUO are obliged to have identifiers ORCID, ResearchID, and  Author ID. Author identifiers are used for unambiguous assignment of R&D results to the author. For the procedure of creating an author’s identifier, see the instructions on a separate website about ORCID at VSB-TUO.
