Starting Thursday, October 15, until the end of the month, VSB-TUO and other institutions will have access to a free trial of the Web of Science Research Assistant. This AI-powered research assistant is integrated into the Web of Science platform. The trial is intended for researchers, PhD students, librarians and research support staff who want to explore how AI tools can speed up literature research and support the research process.
During the trial, you will be able to explore:
- conversational searching across Web of Science content,
- quickly getting up to speed on a new research topic,
- preparing materials for literature reviews,
- identifying key publications, authors and trends,
- discovering related research areas,
- selecting suitable journals for publication,
- working with visualisations, citation context and verifiable answers linked to Web of Science data.
Research Assistant provides a unified environment where you can start with a research question, topic, author or journal and then receive recommendations for the next steps in your research workflow.
