The Central Library has arranged trial access to the O’Reilly for Higher Education learning platform until the end of June 2026. The platform provides access to more than 60,000 electronic publications (including titles from O'Reilly Media, Pearson, Packt, etc.), audiobooks, case studies, interactive tutorials, and videos from professional conferences. The content focuses on topics such as programming, data analysis, AI & ML, cybersecurity, project and product management, marketing, finance, HR, leadership, soft skills, and more.
The entire platform is designed to help students develop their skills, gain new knowledge, and prepare for entering the job market. More information can be found here.
Trial access is available to VSB-TUO users via the university e-mail domain. To access the platform, users must first create an account through a simple registration process and then use this account to log in to the database. The account can be created from anywhere – all you need is access to your university e-mail inbox to confirm the registration. The database can then also be accessed remotely. A mobile application for offline reading should also be available.
How to Register
4 Steps to Create a New Account:
- Click on the platform login page.
- Enter or select the name of our university (Technical University Ostrava).
- Enter your university e-mail address.
- Click “Sign In”.
