E-Book Readers

Internal users of the VSB-TUO Central Library with valid registration can borrow e-book readers of various models. They can be obtained in the Reading Room in Ostrava–Poruba, Faculty of Economics Reading Room and Faculty of Safety Engineering Reading Room.

Shortly about loans of e-book readers

• E-book readers, their models, and current availability are to be found in our catalogue either using this link or by searching the term: čtečka elektronických knih, or just čtečka.
• Users can borrow an electronic device only after prior reservation in the catalogue. This reservation is free of charge.
• Users can borrow only one device at a time.
• The loan period is 60 days, 1x renewal for 60 days. Unless the device has been reserved by another user, it can be returned and loaned again immediately.
• A special Agreement on a loan of electronic device must be confirmed by the library and the user for each loan.
• Note: The contractual overdue fine of 20,- CZK is charged for each day after the due date.
